Biogas In,Electricity & Heat Out
MCFC (Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell) directly uses digester gas as fuel, simultaneously producing electricity and useful heat in a high-temperature electrochemical reaction. The produced heat can be fed back to anaerobic digesters to further increase overall biogas production, creating a positive circular economy.
Digester gas enters the system directly. A patented pretreatment device removes siloxanes and sulfides, protecting the fuel cell stack and maximizing the usable biogas volume.
MCFC operates at approximately 650°C, converting biogas into electricity with efficiencies far exceeding traditional internal combustion engine generation.
High-quality heat is produced alongside electricity generation, which can be directly used in facility processes or fed back to anaerobic digesters to increase biogas output.
Waste heat is recycled to digesters to produce more biogas and more electricity. Energy utilization efficiency continues to rise, turning waste into assets.

Wastewater Treatment Plants
