MCFC (Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell) directly uses digester gas as fuel, simultaneously producing electricity and useful heat in a high-temperature electrochemical reaction. The produced heat can be fed back to anaerobic digesters to further increase overall biogas production, creating a positive circular economy.

Biogas Feed

Digester gas enters the system directly. A patented pretreatment device removes siloxanes and sulfides, protecting the fuel cell stack and maximizing the usable biogas volume.
